Pizza Masters!

Agora que já sabemos mais vocabulário acerca da alimentação resolvemos ser criativos e criar as nossas próprias pizzas. Leiam e fiquem com àgua na boca. Somos uns cozinheiros de primeira!

The Food Wheel

A comidinha é algo muito importante na nossa vida. Por isso, na nossa aula de Inglês estivemos a aprender vocabulário acerca da alimentação e fizemos vários trabalhos alusivos ao tema.

O Primeiro desses trabalhos foi fazer a legendagem de uma Roda dos Alimentos e das partes que a constituem. Depois, estivemos a desenhar e recortar alimentos para decorarmos o nosso placard. Junto desses alimentos colocamos uns cartões com os seus nomes em Inglês

Valentine's Day

No âmbito do Dia dos Namorados, aprendemos imenso vocabulário alusivo ao tema - heart, boyfriend, girlfriend, love, sweet, valentine, chocolates, flowers - e com essas palavras construímos frases muito imaginativas - You are my chocolate cake!; You are my sunshine!; You are sweet as chocolate!; Be my valentine!.

Depois de aprendermos o vocabulário estivemos a construir postais para entrar num concurso inter-turmas aqui na escola. Utilizamos todo o tipo de materiais: cartolinas, tintas, esponjas, prata, molas e até arroz. Esses trabalhos foram postos em exposição e, depois, foram eleitos quatro vencedores (um por cada ano de escolaridade). A vencedora do 4º ano foi uma menina da nossa turma, a Matilde. Ficamos todos muito orgulhosos dela. Ela recebeu um livro de histórias bilingue e um saquinho repleto de doces!!

Gostamos todos muito de participar neste concurso e esperamos que hajam mais pois muito divertido e um excelente exercício para a nossa imaginação.

Na nossa aula de Inglês relembramos as partes do corpo (que já tínhamos aprendido no ano anterior) e aprendemos alguns adjectivos para nos descrevermos fisicamente. Halloween

Tal como deves saber, o "Halloween" é um a tradição de Inglaterra e dos Estados Unidos da América, no entanto, actualmente ele festeja-se em praticamente todo o Mundo. E, como a nossa escola não é excepção, nós também o festejamos. A nossa turma preparou uma peça de teatro intitulada "As cinco pequenas abóboras" e apresentou-a aos meninos da Pré-primária. Como eles são pequenitos resolvemos representá-la em português, porém, aprendemos muito vocabulário em Inglês e com ele elaboramos pequenos textos que colocamos no nosso placard. Respeitando a tradição, no final da peça, perguntamos à nossa plateia se queria "doce ou travessura" ("trick or treat") e a resposta deles foi óbvia: DOCE!!! Nesse momento, fizemos a distribuição de uns cestinhos alusivos à época (feitos por nós na aula), repletos de rebuçados. Eles ficaram muito contentes, e nós também!!!

My Family

Um dos temas que estudamos na nossa aula de Inglês foi a família (family). Aprendemos a dizer os graus de parentesco em Inglês, mas também a apresentar a nossa família. Fizemos umas árvores genealógicas muito giras: uns colaram fotografias e outros desenharam os seus familiares. Leiam alguns dos nossos textos e vejam as nossa árvores.

O nosso placard

O nosso placard, que fica instalado à portinha da nossa sala, é a uma espécie de janela onde mostramos o trabalho que andamos a fazer a toda a comunidade escolar. Deixamos aqui algumas fotografias da evolução deste ao longo do ano lectivo. Espero que gostem. É o nosso orgulho!!
As duas imagens que vêm acima mostram o nosso placard acerca do Reino Unido (United Kingdom). Constituimos 4 grupos de trabalho e, cada um, elaborou um cartaz acerca de um dos países constituintes do Reino Unido. Foi divertido ficar a conhecer um pouco da cultura e dos costumes destes países (Inglaterra, Irlanda do Norte, Escócia e País e Gales).
